Coos Volunteer Portal Part 1

Welcome to
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Info Page

Volunteering is a great way to meet the best of the best people and when you do something for the community the rewards are great.

  • The mission of CASA is to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courts. We promote and support quality volunteer representation for children to provide each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home. http://www.volunteermatch.org/results/opp_detail.jsp?oppid=338106  CASA volunteers are ordinary people who are committed to doing what is best for a child. All our volunteers are trained in courtroom procedure, social services, the juvenile justice system, and the special needs of abused and neglected children. We welcome volunteers from all cultures, professions, and ethnic and educational backgrounds.
